I am pleased to provide a comprehensive report on the highly successful "Prader-Willi Syndrome HK Parents' Conference 2023". This conference served as a vital platform for parents of children with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) in Hong Kong, bringing together a total of 20 participants from 10 PWS families. The conference featured a diverse range of speakers, including renowned experts such as geneticists, respirologists, endocrinologists, and dietitians. Their presentations covered various aspects of PWS, including the latest advancements in genetics, respiratory care, endocrine management, and dietary considerations.

It is worth noting that the event was co-organized by the Hong Kong Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism (HKSPEM) and Rare Disease HK, demonstrating their commitment to supporting PWS families and raising awareness about this rare condition. The collaboration between these organizations ensured that the conference was well-structured and encompassed a comprehensive range of topics relevant to PWS.

The conference provided a unique opportunity for parents to gain valuable knowledge and insights, empowering them to better understand and manage the challenges associated with PWS. Additionally, it fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants, allowing them to connect, share personal experiences, and provide support to one another.
