Discussion on Transitional Diabetes Service

The seminar was successfully held on 13 Nov 2014 in the Mira Hotel. Professor PT Cheung, Dr. WY So, Dr. Patrick Cheung, APN Ms Theresa Yeung and other guest speakers have shared their views and advices upon proper management carepath w.r.t. transition of adolescent diabetes to adult service.

Youth Diabetes Action - Youth Camp 2014

8^th  to 10^th August 2014 (Friday to Sunday)
The Salvation Army Bradbury Camp, Cheung Chau

A series of team building activities were designed and the medical volunteers from Paediatric Endocrine doctors and DM nurses have provide d professional advice, guidance and onsite support for the camp.

It gave the youth a golden opportunity to increase their understanding in how to cope with their daily medical needs, and to improve their self care and their daily lives. Besides, it let them to develop their own social network with friends of similar backgrounds.
